Summary Pro Patria Mori: Alex was sick of being used and threatened and blackmailed and so fourteen year old Alex Rider became sixteen year old John Sanders. And now he's joined the SAS. Will he be able to keep his secret? Or will MI6 find him?
Summary Dulce et Decorum: Alex thought he was well out of the world of spies and soldiers, but with his friends still embroiled in the SAS, it was only a matter of time until he was sucked back in. And this time, the cost will be higher than ever before.

I could say this for every author on this list tbh, but I really like this author’s writing. Their Alex is reckless, and a touch more ruthless than canon!Alex. Frankly, I love him.
