Carol Peletier/Tyreese Williams, also known as Cyreese, is the het pairing of Carol Peletier and Tyreese Williams in The Walking Dead fandom. They have a canonical relationship in the comics, but not in the TV series.
Canon
TV Series
Carol and Tyreese first meet when Tyreese and his group try to join the prison, Rick rejects them, and they go live at Woodbury instead. After The Governor's actions at the end of Season 3 Tyreese and the remaining Woodbury residents come to live at the prison. When a deadly sickness spreads through the prison Tyreese's girlfriend, Karen, is one of the first to fall ill. Carol kills Karen and burns her body to try and stop the spread of the illness. Tyreese is unaware of Carol's actions and discovers Karen's charred body. After the prison falls Tyreese, Carol, Lizzie, Mika and baby Judith travel together in hopes of finding a new home, they find the Grove. Lizzie kills Mika and threatens to kill Judith, and Carol puts Lizzie down because she is a danger to others. Afterwards Carol confesses to Karen's murder, Tyreese decides to forgive Carol. Tyreese dies mid Season 5 of an infection after a walker bite.
