Alohomora.com was one of the first Harry Potter websites to house fiction. It was run by Flourish.

The site became just Alohomora and stopped using the alohomora.com address following a cease and desist letter from Warner Bros. The site closed in 2001 and the URL temporarily redirected to FictionAlley.

It was mentioned in Flourish's 2002 "Guided Tour of the Harry Potter Fandom":

The first Harry Potter site was the Realm, founded in the fall of 1999. And there were authors, and it was good. This website was run by one person, Gypsy, but this task is extremely large; therefore, the site's fanfiction archive has become less and less the center of fanfiction activities. This site was the first Harry Potter fanfiction site, and was the typical fan-run HP fanfic site of the time: small, designed in an amateurish way, and with a small community of teenaged authors. Another similar site of this time was alohomora.com (now defunct).

The domain was also home to Flourish's other sites, including the hpfwa, Project Alternity and The Chamber of Secrets.

Alohomora Challenge

The Alohomora Challenge (previously known as the alohomora.com fanfic challenge) was held and judged every two months. The first challenge was in January 2000.

Redcaps Archive

The Redcaps Archive was "a fanfiction archive including slash, gen and het from some of the best authors in the fandom." As of May 2001, it hosted the following stories:
