eeeeeeeeer.... yes, this one is ok. inoffensive. the premise is that blake's like 'let's attack this really really cold place where we will probably freeze to death' and while they're there avon falls through the ice over a lake and almost dies. he's in a coma for ages and when he comes out blake feels bad and takes everyone to a tropical island, and he and avon have sex, while discussing whether they want to commit to each other or not or whether casual sex is enough.

look - i can't stress this enough: THIS IS NOT THE ISSUE IN THIS PAIRING. avon is still sad about anna and finds it difficult to trust - but what this means is that he massively wants commitment. he wants to be reassured every day that blake isn't going to betray him. and i guess he could choose not to be betrayed by not trusting blake but... hasn't anyone noticed that it's too late? he already basically does in all the ways that matter (mostly he trusts him to be a good person, but also he trusts him to always behave in the way that blake will always behave - so there is no chance of betrayal, because he's prepared for any of blake's bullshit). so, what i'm saying is, the fact that they're shagging is neither here nor there as far as that is concerned.

as for blake... i think the reasons he wouldn't want to be with avon are all about whether it would be a good idea to disrupt the balance of the crew, whether it would upset avon to have to deal with avon's feelings, whether it would be a good idea since blake doesn't necessarily know who blake is after all the mindwipes, whether he can afford to be distracted by sex/whether he can afford to be happy when there is bullshit going on in the world, and finally - because avon is a dick and shouldn't be encouraged if he's going to keep going on about how nobody else matters. also, i think blake is probably a bit worried that avon would think that sleeping with him was a manipulation thing...

so - i think unless it was a total accident because they were both plastered and blake wakes up and thinks 'fuck, even though i love him, this was really not a good idea, because now my crew might fall apart, shit shit, what am i going to do? ok - let's never sleep with each other again, maybe that will work'... i just don't think 'avon, can you bring yourself to commit to me?' is a problem. BECAUSE HE ALREADY HAS. if they're sleeping together it must be because they both want to do it and to do it repeatedly.
