Big Ol' Spoiler

Nobody dies and the ending's happy. This is a humorous Fraser/Kowalski story, Alternate Universe, SlashFicLite. Vecchio makes an appearance in reference only, "as a friend".

Warnings

This story contains graphic descriptions of gay sex. There is reference to underage sex. And the possibility of offscreen het sex. In fact, even Dief tries to get laid. This is an Alternate Universe (AU). A snippet from this story was posted to a couple of lists in 2001.

Other Sources

Occasionally I like to incorporate dialogue from the show into a story, such as the segment of Ray-ish exposition from Eclipse that now takes place in a restaurant rather than a crypt. In a couple of places I've attributed lines or phrases to characters other than their canon speakers, such as an original character saying, "Ray. Ray. Ray. Ray," or "I've been to [Toronto]. Nothing could survive there." In one place, I've taken a chunk of Vecchio/Fraser dialogue from Victoria's Secret and attributed it to Kowalski/Fraser. You will, no doubt, recognize these elements. There's also a bit of mirroring I do with my own dialogue in which the speaking parts of an early scene are reversed later in the novel.

I've dropped in a recognizable character name or two from other media influences, such as Forever Knight, Queer as Folk and Hard Core Logo, sort of cameo appearances, if you will. There are also references to everything from Barney Miller to Shakespeare, including Monty Python, Saturday Night Fever, Stars Trek and Wars, I Love Lucy, and Frank's Cock (bet you never thought to see those two juxtaposed!), to name a few.
