Reactions and Reviews

There are three individual stories in this issue with good characterisation.

'My Friend. My Foe' is a McCoy/Spock story. McCoy and Spock are kidnapped by Romulans whose intentions are to turn them against each other. 'Two Faces of Freedom" - horrific murders are taking place on the Enterprise. Kirk's only suspects are two ambassadors from the newly discovered planet Maraddi, but even when they are under strict detention, the murders continue...

'Mask of Shadows' - Spock is found unconscious on a planet about which the Enterprise is orbiting. McCoy and Kirk must reconstruct the events prior to this incident to help Spock regain his memory.</ref> from Beyond Antares #33</ref>
