From the Publisher

"The reason why we did not include the warning sheet in this story is because we felt that in Werefaer a large amount of the plot would be missed if the reader missed that scene, whereas we didn't find that as much so in Fenfaer."

Reactions and Reviews

You DO need to read Fenfaer first, and you WILL want to read Werefaer if you read it, so may as well buy 'em both together! I mentioned in the first 'zine how the publishers had placed a warning page at the beginning of the story so you would be able to skip the n/c sex part. That feature isn't included in this 'zine. I don't know why, but really if you are going to skip that in either 'zine you might as well not get them. If you know Shorts writing, you'll know these scenes aren't over-done and I didn't find them overly painful to deal with... This 'zine focused more on Simon, who we discover is Werefaer; a race of people who are historically mortal enemies of Fenfaer. When the leader of a rogue band of Fenfaer captures Rafe to steal from him the gift of an extended life, the Werefaer and Fenfaer must put their history behind them and come together to rescue Rafe. Even though I prefer to focus on Jim and Blair, I loved this foray into Simon's life. And of course there's more than enough Jim/Blair/Rafe to make me happy! This 'zine features even more lovely illos by Geli. I believe Fenfaer had two b/w interior drawings. Both lovely pieces. Werefaer features four great pieces. A J/B piece, a J/B/Rafe piece, a Simon/o piece, and a beautiful, full colour Simon portrait. If you haven't read my squick warnings for Fenfaer, you really should as the same could apply for this 'zine. [1]
