From a Flyer

From a flyer, written from the point of view of Baltar:

All this talk on the intergalactic grape vine is referring to a great new fanzine on the market dedicated totally to that new show, BATTLESTAR GALACTICA. I'm sure you've heard of the show. The 'zine Is called VIPER VISIONS. The first issue came out in April despite severe problems with printers and contributors. Would you believe that the first issue is still available! It includes a looong short story by editor Don Murphy involving the ultimate Cylon death threat, part one of an episode guide that no one wants credit for, great poetry by Crystal Ann Taylor that even I found moving and perceptive, a Galactica Merchandise guide, letters, A very short story by M. Esguerra, and the BEST, the very BEST art ever by a group of artists that calls themselves Interfan. Believe me, Lucifer, this 'zine can really boast of superb artwork.

I sent a Telex to this editor guy, Don Murphy, and he told me that the first issue was intended as an experiment which thus far has been very successful in Fandom. His first ish resulted, after printer hassles, in a big 50 page 'zine, with heavier blue covers, and would you believe that he still has some left!

Due to the great response Don has decided to go ahead with his plans to do a second issue. Right now he is still considering contributions, so if you have anything to submit, send it in NOW, it's more than welcome. Even if it's just a letter of comment, he wants to hear from his readers.

The second Issue should be out in late September, so if you have anything, please send soon. He'll be adding reduction to the second issue so as to fit more material in.

Cost, you ask? Would you believe that the first ish is available for $2.50 plus 50 cents postage. Or that to go even further, he'll let you have 1&2 for only $5.00 postpaid. How can you go wrong?

Well Lucifer, I've got to go new. Prison here isn't all that bad although I do miss you. I sincerely hope you do order the 'zine - I think you'll like It. In any case, thanks for reading. I've really got to go now...This Iblis chap wants me.

BY MY COMMAND, BALTAR[1]
