Versaphile Lord of the Rings Recommendations is a LotR recommendation site.
This site is dedicated to finding really good Lord Of The Rings stories and making them easy to find. It's a simple mission, really. Feel free to browse the fan fiction listed below without worrying about the general quality of the stories listed, merely pick and choose as your tastes lead you.What you'll find here: gen, het, and slash for all pairings, satire, angst, romance, and whatever high-quality LOTR fan fiction I can get my hands on. I'm biased towards Sam/Frodo stories, but am open to all pairings and types of fic, as long as they're well-written. If there's a great story I've missed, feel free to send me its URL and I'll take a look. Please do not send the actual story text--this is NOT an archive.
What you won't find here: Mary Sues, bad characterization, ill-executed smut, and awkward writing styles. Unless it's satire, and then anything goes.
