Valka is a character from How to Train Your Dragon series, first appearing in the second film.
Canon Background
- It's not every day you find out your mother is some kind of... crazy, feral, vigilante, dragon lady.[1]
Valka is the wife of Stoick the Vast and Hiccup's mother. She does not appear until the second movie, though she is mentioned in passing in the first. When Hiccup was less than a year old, she was taken from Berk during a dragon raid to the Dragon Sanctuary. For 20 years of her life, she lived among dragons in the Dragon Sanctuary with her dragon, Cloudjumper, a Stormcutter. For those 20 years, she rescued dragons from trappers like Eret with the help of her Bewilderbeast.
