I was born a fan -- I just didn't know it until I stumbled first upon science fiction fandom and then media fandom after that. After getting involved with media fandom in the '80s, I met the Media Cannibals and began writing fanfic for The Professionals, my ur-fandom, later the X-Files, Buffy, and eventually many others, including The Fast and the Furious. I also got involved with vidding, and have produced more vids than I can count since then, in more fandoms than I can remember. I vid solo and with collaborators, most often Jo (another one of the Media Cannibals) as L'Abattoir.
