Hi, I'm WD. Been fannish since before I even knew what fandom was. Currently active in the Person of Interest fandom and semi-active in the Forever fandom. I mostly write, but sometimes I do graphics stuff, mod things, or, on a rare occasion, draw a picture or two.
Fannish History
Discovered fandom when I was a preteen baby searching the internet for ER spoilers on the public library's computers, back in 2000 or so. I stumbled upon fanfic somehow, and I've been hooked ever since. Once I finally got a computer and internet at home, I started a (probably ill-advised) message board for the show, the long-dead New ER Board. Since then, I've been in several other fandoms, but I was mostly a lurker. Sometimes I'd creep out of hiding to post LJ icons, and then I'd slink back out of sight and continue to devour every good fanfic I could get my hands on.
In 2010, I became active in the Adam Lambert fandom. I wrote fic, made LJ icons, even modded two gift exchanges - "So Hot Out the Bed" and "Happy Bertidays" - with inoru_no_hoshi. I remained active in the fandom until 2012, when I eventually drifted away and slipped into lurkerdom once more.
Inoru and I also modded Cotton Candy Bingo for a time. Not very well, tbh, but we did it.
Time passed, and then I resurfaced in the Forever fandom in late 2014. I wrote fic and modded a few things, then drifted into lurkerdom until I found my next fandom.
That fandom is Person of Interest. I'm very fond of Finch/Reese, and I started a Discord server called The Rinch Loft for them toward the beginning of 2021.
