Two Lovers is a 125-page slash novel by O. Yardley. It is half alternative universe, half CI5-verse.

It has a sequel called "Learning to Trust" in Septet.

Excerpt from the Publisher's Flyer

"Bodie woke to the enlivening smell of coffee and frying bacon. He sat up, stretching, smiling as he took in the cheering sight of Doyle clad in nothing save a tea-towel wrapped inadequately round his middle.

"Does this mean I'm going to be kept in the manner I'd like to get accustomed to?"

"What makes you think this is for you?"

Scrambling up, Bodie peered over the top of the cupboard and said respectfully, "Eight rashers and four eggs. I do admire a man with a hearty appetite. Okay if I grab a shower while you're eating that?"

"Very funny." Doyle rescued some toast which was starting to smoke. "Haul yourself out of that bed, put the table back and we can eat as soon as you're done."

The temperature was a little nippy that morning so Bodie draped one of the sleeping bags round his shoulders while he ate. Apparently impervious to cold Doyle merely slipped on a tatty, paint- stained T-shirt that was split under one arm, clearly feeling that, along with his tea-towel, he was adequately dressed. Bodie liked that, a lot. He had very little time for conventions himself.

Buttering his second slice of toast Doyle said casually, "I'm going to move on today, quite a long way actually."

Bodie's stomach lurched uncomfortably."
