Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place, later titled Two Guys and a Girl when the series abandoned the pizza place, was a sitcom television series that ran on ABC.
Canon
It was primarily about three characters: roommates Pete, initially a neurotic architectural student, and Berg (pre-bodybuilding Ryan Reynolds), a snarky laid-back pre-med student, and Sharon. Later additions to the cast included Johnny (Nathan Fillion), Ashley, and Irene. Its Halloween episodes in particular needed to be seen to be believed; one memorable Halloween episode bodyswapped the characters into their opposite sexes while another gave Sharon a dick, one that dialogue suggested was larger than her boyfriend Johnny's.
Fandom
Its small fandom was mostly started by Viridian5, who wrote fanfic and told readers that she barely needed to add slash to what already appeared in the show with Pete and Berg, especially in the first two seasons.
Many of ABC's promotional TV spots were as slashy as the show, like the one where Pete was dressed as Sonny and Berg as Cher. The same could be said for some of the text at ABC's (now defunct) official show webpage, like this, from its "12 Ways to Survive 6 Weeks Without TWO GUYS on Wednesdays":
- 4) Invent a TWO GUYS pizza-eating game. Order in a pizza, slip a TWO GUYS episode in the VCR and enjoy the show in ways you never dreamed possible. Some suggestions: One bite every time Berg does William Shatner. Two bites every time Sharon is seen eating pizza. Three bites every time Pete kisses Berg.
