Trust[1] is a story by fawatson. It was a treat given to trueriver. Set during the point in the novel when Alexias and Lysis have only recently become lovers, it provides information about Lysis’ youth when he was eremenos and his trust was betrayed. It was written in response to the recipient’s request: "I would love to know about the young Lysis as eremenos. We know nothing about this, not even a hint, but I would like to think he had a lover, and what happened in this relationship, and how it changed/ended!"

It took an aspect of the novel which never quite went the way I wanted it to and gave it a motivation that I had never thought of before.
