Tim Gunn is best known as the mentor on US fashion reality TV show Project Runway from 2004 to 2017, and for other, mainly fashion-related, projects.

He and his famous "Make it work!" catchphrase sometimes appear in fanfiction, mainly as a supporting character in Project Runway AUs, more rarely as part of the main ship.

He also featured in the Bandom crack fanfiction universe "Pete Wentz & His Humans" created by lalejandra and inlovewithnight, where he was sometimes paired with Diego Saporta.
