On the publisher's 2002 website: "Welcome to Tia's Pals' Press! Tia was my cat. Leah, Becky, Brenda, Julie, Toni and a lot of others are my pals. And this is our Press. I've been writing fan fiction since I was a teenager, though I didn't start publishing fanzines until about fifteen years ago. I set up this site to get our stories out and to find new homes for special items."
