From the editor:

"Through the Eyes of Innocence" was conceived as a way to "keep the dream alive" and growing; a way for young dreamers to experience the ecstasy of a dream come true; a way to encourage young dreamers to become adult dreamers who keep on reaching for their dreams; a way for young dreamers to encourage other dreamers, young and old, to "keep on dreaming."

From the editorial:

When I came up with the idea of "Through the eyes of Innocence," my objective was simply to give younger fans of Beauty and the Beast a place to see their dreams of being writers and artists fulfilled. It was my hope that in fulfilling these dreams these younger fans might strife [sic] to attain new dreams and to keep the dreams and goals of Beauty and the Beast alive and growing. I had hoped that these young dreamers might also be an inspiration to their older counterparts. I had no idea of the wonderful jounreys and fulfilled dreams this fanzine would bring into my own life. Nor could I have imagined the special friendships that I have found through this fanzine. It has been awe inspiring to me that such a simple idea could cause so many wonderful things to occur.

Each one of the works in this fanzine has another "silent" message about its creator to relay to you which can inspire all of us to reach for those dreams we thought unreachable.
