Truthfully, I didn't think I was going to like this story. But I did. In fact, I like it very much now. Even if some of the imageries were pretty dark and upsetting, I will still say this: angst is good, and this story more so. No more spoiling now, so go read if you want to find out more.[1]– T.O.T.O.
This is a dark, angsty, novel length story. Guaranteed to rip out your heart. The characterizations are excellent and the plot will have you on the edge of your seat. Please read the warnings before proceeding.[2]
obi-wan/qui-gon, alternating pov, au, death, first pov, suicide~ yay! boy does keely write a mean tpm story. okay, dark obi-wan is one of my favorite things. dark, angsty, broody, two dimensional obi-wan is just bad, but keely makes him believeable. interspersed with bits of his internal monologue and a sweeping story with a unique ending makes "though night shall fall" stand out from the masses of dark!obi stories. i especially like her mindset of anakin, who usually pisses me off massively in these fics, and the fact that she gives us hope. it's a wonderful story, almost tear enducing.[3]
Warning, this fic is DARK, but well worth the read. Taking place post-TPM, we go into territory that is painful to explore, but entirely plausible. It's a long one, so settle in and check it out.[4]
