The Time Given is a website dedicated to Aragorn and Legolas from The Lord of the Rings trilogy. This site is created for both fans of the single characters as well as fans that enjoy the pair in a romantic sense. Though this site is, for the majority, completely movie based rather than book based.

Also, when dealing with a romantic relationship this site is strictly dedicated to the fictional characters of Aragorn and Legolas, that means no Viggo Mortensen and Orlando Bloom RPS.

There are separate sections with character/actor profiles and quotes, an "about" section, a sections with photo fanart (for any and all things Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, and more), codes for linking banners, a fanart page with manips, fanfiction and recs, extra such as wallpapers, icons and pictures, links to other LotR pages and a list of affiliates.

About the site:

I originally thought up the idea for this site during the end of January and through the beginning of February. But of course due to real life I was unable to actually start work on the site until March. Creating the first version of the site on March 20, 2003. The title of the site I mainly got from one source, a close person in my life chose to write a Aragorn Legolas fan fiction during the time I started thinking of doing a Lord of the Rings Site. The person ended up giving the story the title "The Time Given" and personally I loved it enough that I told them I was stealing it in the event I actually made this site. Though I must also give the source they used to come up with the title - the wise wizard Gandalf. After re-watching The Fellowship of the Ring for the millionth time my friend decided that Gandalf's words of wisdom to Frodo fit her story well enough to use them. Thus spawning the title of this site.[1]
