From a 2013 eBay seller: "This is the Premiere 1st issue. This is the Offical Newsletter of The Legion of Rassilon and published by UFP-Starfleet Command. From April 1984. Also contains an ad for TimeCon '84 starring Jon Pertwee in San Jose, Ca. Plus an ad for Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. Reactions and Reviews: Issue 9 (and 10)

When you don’t publicise yourself in any way, you tend to get ignored. Such had been the fate of TARDIS Log, at least for me, until recently. It comes out monthly and is 24 pages long, with contents similar to Sonic: articles, fiction, news, reviews, and so on. It relies on layout and the occasional photo, however, with very few pictures. Given it comes out every month, there’s surprisingly little padding, bar the last two pages (you know what I mean, Tim!). It’s annoying that virtually every piece runs over more than one issue, though. A good read! Ratings: • • • & • • • 1/2 (out of five) [1]

Issue 10

The TARDIS Log 10 was published in 1995.

Issue 11

The TARDIS Log 11 was published in 1996.

Reactions and Reviews: Issue 11

You know, it’s incredibly hard to review a zine, and see difference between its issues, when every issue we get one page of a story or article, followed by a little tag saying "To be continued". It’s not good enough! It’s rare I can end reading an issue of this, and have any style or particular item stand out in my memory because of this. Now that I’ve got that off my chest, the contents are still quite good, the news up to date and Tim even put in a bit saying how much it was to subscribe – last issue’s "Mag Bag" obviously did the job! TARDIS Log also now has a web site equivalent – you’ll find it at http://www2.hunterlink.net.au/~ddpa/ Rating: • • 1/2(out of 5) [2]

Issue 12

The TARDIS Log 12 was published in 1996.

  • an interview with Lance Parkin
  • about 472 opinions on fandom and Who mythology
  • news coverage
  • a reprint of Kate Orman’s story "Cat’s Luck"
  • other fiction
  • other unknown content

Reactions and Reviews: Issue 12

The untidy layout may be getting to me, but there’s certainly good stuff here once you look for it: an interview with Lance Parkin, about 472 opinions on fandom and Who mythology, as well as decent news coverage. On the other hand, the fiction in TARDIS Log, with the exception of the reprint of Kate Orman’s excellent "Cat’s Luck", continues to be crap. Sorry. Rating: • • 1/2 out of five [3]
