The Star Gazer is a gen Star Trek: TOS 68-page poetry anthology published in Australia. It is digest-sized (5" x 8"), and the poetry is by Betsi Ashton. The artists are Rick Taylor, Betsi Ashton, Shtona Isreb, Sylvia Ruwoldt, & Shaun Brown.

It is dedicated to "Diane Marchant, and to all those lovers of Star Trek who feel that they are different from their friends and neighbors, and who feel lonely and isolated. May the love of all Trekkers reach out and comfort you."

Most of the poems in this anthology were later reprinted by Betsi in her expanded work, Portals of Time, published in 1986.

Betsi's poem Beyond the Edge of the World, the final poem in this anthology, was read aloud by Geoff Allshorn as part of his eulogy to Diane Marchant at her funeral in 2006; Betsi gave her verbal consent for him to do this and for any further public use at his discretion, and she died shortly after. In 2022, it was published on his humanist website in Betsi's memory.
