The Staff Room was a Harry Potter fanfiction archive for stories centering on members of the Hogwarts staff.
The site was started by Romana in June 2002 and was hosted at her site, Romana's TARDIS. It moved twice, once in late 2002 and again in 2004, this time to its own domain at staff-room.co.uk. The archive closed in late 2005 or early 2006.[1]
When the archive was moved in 2004, it was also upgraded to eFiction software. Before its move to eFiction, the site also accepted fanart.
It had an ezboard message board called the Staff Room Noticeboard, started in 2002. It was used for site announcements, general discussion, and feedback and reviews of archived stories
As of August 2005, the archive contained 42 stories by 31 authors.
2004 Reopening

The Staff Room fanfiction archive is now open for business. Authors can join the archive and upload and maintain their own stories with no trouble at all. Authors archived in the previous incarnation of The Staff Room should contact the admin for access to their already existing logins. New authors welcome and encouraged! Het, Gen, Slash, Saffic, all welcome, despite the current bias towards Saffic. (Staff/Student fics are not accepted, however.)[2]
