The Parallel Times (formally "Apple Shadows") is a gen Dark Shadows newsletter of fiction, artwork, fan responses, poetry, actor interviews, convention news and transcripts, photographs, plot summaries and biographies. There are at least sixteen issues published.
From a 1983 announcement:
THE ALTERNATE SHADOWS (formally the New York Branch of the International Dark Shadows Society) has announced the dissolvement of its affiliation with IDSS. Their newsletters, formally Apple Shadows, is now called "The Parallel Times." [1]
