The Less Than Legendary Journeys is a gen zine with stories from the website by the same name. It was sold each year at MediaWest*Con, and ran for six issues. It was a charity zine, and the profits from each issue were donated to Auckland Ronald McDonald House and Teaching Tolerance, a project of the Southern Poverty Law Center. It was a 2001 Fan Quality Award winner for Best Hercules: the Legendary Journeys fanzine. Two issues have color covers by fan artists Karen River and X.

The Less Than Legendary Journeys 1 was published in 2000.

The Less Than Legendary Journeys 2 was published in 2001. It included original illustrations by artists Zawiah Zainudin and Kate.

The Less Than Legendary Journeys 3 was published in 2002. It included original illustrations by artists Zawiah Zainudin and Kate, and a color cover and inside back cover by artist Karen River.

The Less Than Legendary Journeys 5 was published in 2004. This was a special Egyptian issue with a reprint of "Home is Where the Heart is" and the first printing of the sequel, "The Ninth Plague." Cover and illustrations were by Ahary.

The Less Than Legendary Journeys 6 was published in 2005. It had a color cover by X.

The Less Than Legendary Journeys: the Naughty Bits' published in May 2003, contains the het and slash stories from the site.
