The Flintstones was an American animated prime-time comedy series that aired on ABC from 1960 to 1966. It focused on the everyday lives of two Stone Age families, the Flintstones (Fred, Wilma, daughter Pebbles and pet Dino) and the Rubbles (Barney, Betty and son Bamm-Bamm). It was modeled on The Honeymooners and spawned spin-offs, animated and live-action movies, as well as parodies. It also spawned the futuristic imitation The Jetsons.
Pairings
Not surprisingly, the canon Fred/Wilma is the most popular het pairing on AO3. There are three Fred/Barney slash stories. There is one Wilma/Betty femslash story and one that slashes Pebbles with Judy Jetson and also has Jane Jetson/Wilma/Betty threesome.
