Reactions and Reviews
Even though this Mirror Kirk was badly damaged, I loved his penchant for outrageous behavior -- especially the speech in praise of traitors to the Empire. It's the unpredictable maverick aspect of Kirk that I find most attractive. At the same time I realize that in the context of the story Kirk was being intentionally self-destructive. This is realistic given his traumatic childhood. Sharon portrays Kirk's shaky psychological state with great insight and sympathy. [1]
