cover of issue #8

The Console Room is a gen Doctor Who anthology. It has the subtitle: "The Fanzine of Time and Relative Dimensions in Ann Arbor."

A Change in Editors

""The Console Room," a British media fanzine, has changed editors. I've been the editor of "Console Room" for six years, and I've decided the zine needs new blood. The new editor is Christine Bichler, editor of "Face Forward," a genzine, and "Love and Justice," a ST-TNG (Kira/Odo) fanzine." [1]

How Many Issues?

There are eight issues.

In an ad in I.Z.I., a ninth issue was proposed but with a subject change: "Console Room is changing from "mostly Doctor Who" to British multimedia. Looking for Doctor Who, Blake's 7, Starcops, Avengers, Dangermouse, Prisoner, Red Dwarf, Robin of Sherwood, Sandbaggers, Yes, Minister, Fawlty Towers, Good Neighbors, Yes, Prime Minister, Professionals, Space: 1999, Lovejoy, Sherlock Holmes, etc., etc., etc. Crossovers are welcome, but at least one of the worlds must be from a British show."
