Usage

This template should be added to articles about individual fanfiction stories, novels, or epics in The Sentinel fandom that are not zines. The template will automatically include the page in the Sentinel Fanfiction category unless you put a different category in the category= field.

For articles about Jim/Blair fanfiction, use Template:FanfictionSentinelJB.

For articles about other fanfiction, use Template:Fanfiction.

For articles about fannish original fiction, use Template:OriginalFiction or Template:OriginalSlash.

Key

• title = title of the story
• author = fan writer
• dates = when was it posted/published?
• length = word count, page count, or file size
• genre = gen, het, slash, adult, yaoi, crack, casefile, etc. (whatever is considered a genre in that fandom)
• externallinks = link to the story, if available online
• image = if a suitable image is available, place file name here and format like so: [[File:Example.jpg|thumb|center|caption text]]
• category = this will default to Category:Sentinel Fanfiction and should be left blank unless the fanfiction belongs in a different subcategory, such as Category:Sentinel Gen Fanfiction. Only fandom-specific subcategories should be listed in this field. Subcategories that aren't fandom-specific, like Category:Crossover Fanfiction belong at the bottom of the page. To use this field, type Category:Sentinel (Whatever) Fanfiction with no brackets.
