TarrantNostra.com (originally called "The Avon/Tarrant Page" and "An Avon/Tarrant Online Fiction Archive") was a website for Blake's 7 fans, specifically those who were fans of the character Del Tarrant.

It was created and maintained by RandyM.

It is probably the first multi-author slash archive in the fandom.

The homepage announced:

Yes, we are Tarrant fans. But we're fairly harmless![1]

The origin of the website's name, first coined by Lexa Reiss, is a pun on the name of the mafia-like organisation the 'Terra Nostra' depicted in Blake's 7 2x2 'Shadow' by Chris Boucher. "Tarrant Nostra," in turn, is the name for Del Tarrant fans.

The website housed gen fanfiction (not necessarily related to Tarrrant, although much was) by Pat Nussman, Sheila Paulson and Suzan Lovett, as well as The Forbidden Zone, which contains Avon/Tarrant and Tarrant/Vila slash fanfiction by various authors, episode reviews, images and other fannish products, as well as a Steven Pacey website.

The explicitly Avon/Tarrant centric section of the site was last updated in 2001. The website went offline in 2017.

Its Original Name and Origins

It was begun as "The Avon/Tarrant Page," a site begun in 1997. Around 2001, the content was merged to this site and its new name.

Some Early Comments from the Archive Owner

In February 1997, Randym wrote:

I've been something of a slash geek lately. I've started an Internet mailing list devoted to Mulder/Krycek (mostly discussion, though there is some fanfic). Anyone who is interested in joining should e-mail [email protected]; put "subscribe" in the subject header. I've also put up a web site devoted to Avon/Tarrant.

Note: these sites are semi-underground. It's okay to tell your friends, but please be discreet about announcing them in large public forums, especially those which might not be slash-friendly. [2]

From May 1997:

The Avon/Tarrant Page now has a fiction archive and a message board. Point your browsers to http://www.geocities.com/TeIevisionCity/2967. (Contributions to the fiction archive are welcome; it's okay with me if they've been previously published in paper zines, as long as it's okay with the zine editor. If you have only a paper copy, I can probably find someone to type the story in for you. Seeking any Tarrant slash, not Just A/T.) [3]

Early Archived Authors

The site housed a small archive for Avon/Tarrant fanfiction; it also housed some stories for Tarrant/Vila and other Tarrant pairings. It contained 26 stories.
