2009 comment about earlier x-files fan attitudes toward RPF: For me, creating the sockpuppet journal was a holdover from XF Fandom Wave I (i.e. the fandom around 1996ish-2002), when writing RPF was absolutely verboten. No discussion, it just was. [1]--aethel (talk) 16:54, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
