How is this a "plot coupon"? Plot device, sure, but the definitions for "plot coupon" I found said it was an object, e.g. " A thing that a character needs to obtain in order to cash it in for a plot resolution." [1] or "MacGuffins are sometimes referred to as "plot coupons" (especially if multiple ones are required) as the protagonist only needs to "collect enough plot coupons and trade them in for a denouement"." [2] I don't think they need to collect anything in Veelafic.--Ratcreature 16:19, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
