Gah. I've uploaded cover images for these, but evidently I did something I shouldn't have with the filenames, and I can't get the uploaded images to display in the preview. (Or possibly there's an approval queue protocol I've missed.) Anyhow, the images are/should be available if someone can get the code to work.... --djonn 09:31, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

Also: I have used the Fanworks: Zines template because nothing else seemed to apply (despite these being professionally published books). If this should be in one or more other Categories, I'd be glad for someone to apply them. --djonn 09:31, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

I added both covers. Maybe you need to move them a bit around. I can't access Fanlore images on this computer so I have no idea what it looks like right now. --Doro 12:08, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
Thank you! Looks just about exactly as I'd intended/hoped, and I have one or two ideas for future reference about why my attempts may not have displayed. Excellent. --djonn 15:12, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

Changes

"In fact one of the stories was not only altered greatly, but additional characters and situations, belonging to an entirely different (professional) author were introduced..."

Which ones? I mean, wow, I knew that the book was not well received at the time. I've only been to two conventions in my life but I'll never forget the one I attended with a school friend back in early '76. There was this fan authors' panel. I don't remember who was on it and I couldn't hear a lot of what they were saying, but Marshak and Culbreath were referred to as "the ladies" and there was a huge amount of criticism directed at their attempt to take over fandom. --KTJ 00:29, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
