Talk:HEX (glossary term)

I have never seen this term, the one I know from other fandoms is responsefic or remix if it is done as part of a challenge or invited. However we need a disambiguation, because there is a British tv show called "Hex" that has a small fandom[1], also wikipedia tells me there is some Doctor Who character of this name, so the Hex redirect needs to become a disambiguation.--RatCreature 21:53, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

Anyone know of why this word was used for this practice? Was it a word that came from something in Blake's 7 itself, or from the Space City zine creators? --Mrs. Potato Head (talk) 14:52, 23 May 2013 (UTC)

I always assumed it just stood for Happy Ending, with the X to make it sound better. I don't believe it came from the show. It was in common use on the Freedom City list for years, not just among those associated with the Space City zine series. As far as I recall, many of the people using it were monofannish at the time, so it probably didn't originate in another fandom. Espresso Addict (talk) 23:37, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
