Vid section

Do we want to include links to the vids here? I know several of these are posted on streaming sites...--Aethel 20:49, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

If a vid illustrates a point in the text, or helps understand something about the fandom, and you're reasonably sure the vidder posted it on the streaming site herself, and doesn't mind it being linked, then sure! --Betty 02:46, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
I think than maybe they should be done as a fanworks entry, with an overview of the work, and then linked in as a wikilink. That way if anyone else refers to it, they can use the same entry, and then if the link dies for some reason, there's still a summary of the vid. And if a new link is found/provided, changing it in the one fanworks link means that everyone has access to it without having to change individual pages. --rache 04:06, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

Re: separating by Rays: only if someone really has a preference. Given the state of the fandom (as in, the Ray Wars are pretty much over it seems), I'm not sure it's that much of a point anymore. Then again, I'm an equal-opportunity vid watcher. --Raine Wynd 09:18, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

I added a note that vid lists sorted by pairing/character could be found on the pairing or character subpages. I, too, am an equal-opportunity vid watcher, so I like seeing all the good stuff in one place, without extra clutter.--Aethel 15:45, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

timeline of ds vid trends

Hey, I started a timeline of ds vid trends, but I used Vids I knew, which may not be the best ones to illustrate the points I was making. Pls. feel free to rearrange/add new examples.

Geocities

A few points:

1.Tara O'Shea's Due South Links appears to have been moved off Geocities some time ago: [1] 2.William and Elyse's site is hosted on hiwaay.net; is hiwaay connected to GeoCities? is ignorant of domain names--æthel 23:31, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

Stub?

The structure of this site seems to be a bit of a mess, but with so much information here I wouldn't call it a stub. --Doro 22:59, 2 December 2009 (UTC)

I agree.--Ratcreature 00:07, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
I removed the stub and pondered the page structure. I think the "due South Fandom" section needs to be fleshed out and have an overview of the fandom's history. Then maybe all the level three headings can be turned into level 2.--æthel 01:01, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

Remove?

I think it is safe to now remove "Volunteers are being sought to create individual Wiki pages for the fanzines listed here."--Morgandawn 04:47, 12 January 2010 (UTC)

I'd say so. ;-) --Mrs. Potato Head 20:47, 20 August 2010 (UTC)

Diefenbaker

This page needs a pretty fannish image of Deif. Anyone know of one? --Mrs. Potato Head 20:47, 20 August 2010 (UTC)

Otter?

Was the Red Suits You mailing list a "flame/otter-free zone" in reference to the otter that apparently savaged Fraser as a child? If not, someone needs to correct this page and the Red Suits You page, as I have edited my theory in. --Thirdmouse 02:44, 13 January 2012 (UTC)

racine street archive

was defunct by 2003, according to this post[2]--aethel (talk) 06:46, 10 January 2021 (UTC)

con panel writeup

I'm not sure how to work it in, but this con report for a due South MJ panel in 2011 seems relevant:[3]--aethel (talk) 23:57, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
