So, should Peg Kennedy be part of this page, too? -- in which case it needs to be moved--Sherrold 01:29, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

confused

What does this sentence mean: "When April Valentine had some much trouble with mailorder that she changed the name and policy to InPersonPress"? What trouble? Who is this April Valentine and what did she have to do with anything? What did she change the name of? I've read the paragraph twice now, and still can't deduce what this was supposed to tell me.--Ratcreature 09:06, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

I left off the end of the sentance. Hopefully it makes more sense now. But, honey -- I wrote 5-10,000 words and worked all day on this -- you might get more flies with some honey, instead of four questions about one confusing sentence.
Yeah, it makes more sense now. If it had been a topic I'm familiar with or just some obvious missing word to fill in, I'd have just fixed it, but like I tried to point out with my multiple questions comment (which clearly lost something in the electronic conversation, since I didn't intend to come across rude or dismissive of the work), I was lost on several levels, and just tried to be clear about what was missing for my understanding of this bit, because sometimes people assume everyone knows what they are referring to without realizing implied bits. --Ratcreature 19:50, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
No big. And frankly, I expect this topic will change a lot once more people have seen it -- people felt very emotional about them.
Just checking - should it be "When April Valentine had SO MUCH trouble "? I think some sentences are born trouble. Vera 08:39, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

Seeing the previous edit, I've been wondering whether it would be appropriate to add the "Deceased" category to this page after someone died like one would with a fan profile (btw, is there a reason this is sorted under the person profile via its template rather than as fan profile?), even though the article talks about a group.--Ratcreature 05:15, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

I removed a partial list of zines

I removed a long list of about 35 zines that the Hupes either agented or published. I started to created a separate page with them as a list, but gave up completely. 1) the list is so massive that it felt impossible to put together, 2) the list felt as though it wouldn't be very useful seeing how Hupes appear to have have professional dealings with, I don't know, 50-75% of all zines (just a massive guess), 3) it was too hard to discern what those zines were with any accuracy, so the list felt too spotty. If anyone feels differently, feel free to resurrect that list. --MPH (talk) 13:21, 16 September 2018 (UTC)
