take_the_knot is a LiveJournal community for posting Supernatural and Supernatural RPF fanworks that contain knotting. The community also held a kink meme in May 2011 and December 2011. The profile states that "straight-up bestiality" is not allowed and should be posted to the cfamiliaris comm instead.[1]
The community was created in March 2011, but regular posting seems to have started in April.
take_the_knot is one of several kink memes in Supernatural fandom. Others include blindfold_spn, spnkink_meme, and spn_hardcore.
As of 2019, the community had 601 posts; 3,061 comments; and 1018 members.[1]
