Sylvia is a fan writer best known in X-Files fandom as the author of the influential fic The Gift of an Enemy, a Mulder/Krycek novel zine which won two Stiffie awards at MediaWest '99 for best X-Files Novel and Best Artwork and the 2001 Lisa e Krysa Award for Best Novel.
