Spunk is a R-rated het Star Trek: TOS anthology. It was a sister zine to Spock, the club's long-running gen zine series, and was created somewhat as a parody.

It only lasted for two issues.

Issue #1

Issue #1 was edited by Gail Adams and was published in 1987.

The subtitle on the cover is: "The Australian Fanzine for Mature Readers." It is 62 pages long and contains 17 stories and poems.

The art is by Robert Jan, Pam Rendell, Andrew McGee, Mike McGann, Greg Franklin, Betty DeGabriele, Ben Medor, and Gail Adams.

From a 1990 ad: "The adult version of SPOCK, featuring X-Rated Star Trek stories brought to you by the crystal pure folks at Austrek. AGE STATEMENT REQUIRED."

From the Editorial

So it befell me, as the last in a long line of Editors to write this editorial for SPUNK.

That can one say about editing an R-rated fanzine? Well, it was "interesting" there are some very fertile and devious minds out there....although I doubt you will recognise many of the names. (Funny about that.)

Most of all, a big thank you to all you contributors, helpers, collators, typists and punching bags who assisted with the production of this zine.

I can only conclude, after reading this, that no one takes sex or smut very seriously!

Enjoy... or whatever.
