Reactions and Reviews

Yes! She’s back! One of my all-time favorite K/S authors who discovered and was writing in the fandom even before I stumbled across it, has finally emerged from, as I jokingly call it, her self-induced K/S coma and has given us a story that, in my opinion, was well-worth waiting these many years for. As with her previous works, the plot in this story is fairly simple and the sex more “vanilla” than hard core, but none of that matters. Because the core foundation that always drew me to her stories is still there – that emotional element that never fails to drive home the point that K/S has not and never will be about the sex. It’s about the unique and pure love these two beings share that keeps us all coming back for more. This author never fails to reduce me to a big puddle of mush every time I read one of her stories and “Spirit Lights” is no exception. To me, this story demonstrates the point that writing K/S is like riding a bicycle – you may not ride one for years, but as soon as you get back on, it all comes right back to you. I just hope now that Allison has gotten back on that bike, she keeps on pedaling this time and doesn’t stop. Because it is one ride we will all reap huge benefits from. [1]
