Snakebit is a gen Escape from New York anthology with two issues.

The first issue was published by Escape Press, and due to a "personal falling out between my co-editor, [Linda Ojard]" the second issue was published by Escape Press of Texas. Something must have been worked out, though, as the fourth issue was by Escape Press. Linda Ojard continued to write and contribute art to the other issues.

2017 Efforts to Archive it Online

Some of it is online here as PDFs.

From the archivist:

Extremely proud to finally share the second issue of this rare and most prominent Snake Plissken fan zine with the world! For many, many years I've been waiting for it to show up on eBay fruitless. I decided to take matters in my own hands and managed to get in contact with Jeanne Cavelos (Private Trap/Pages: 43-49) who luckily still had this zine and sent it to me as a loan! I did get an email from the editor of this zine J.A. Raish about a year ago. She was a bit upset that I didn't seek her up for permission to use Snakebit 1 on the site but when I told her that I tried without any result she seemed ok with it. She told me that she considered finally publishing Snakebit 3 (1990) and that she had some copies left of Snakebit 2. I suggested to her to sell them via the site but for some reason I never heard from her again. I recently tried to get in contact with her again for an interview regarding the zine etc but I got no reply. Oh well. If you read this Judi I just want to thank you for your dedication and for keeping the flame going through the 80s and early 90s. These two issues are very, very impressive and I'm very happy to share your and Linda Ojard's (1947 - 2013) work to a new generation as well as older fans.

This issue is particularly interesting since it contains an article written by Mike McQuay (EFNY Movie Tie-In Novelist) (1949 - 1995) and a letter from John Carpenter himself!

A Big Special Thanks To Jeanne Cavelos! You Are Awesome! [1]
