  • Peter Lawrence, Attorney at Law, by Lisa Lovewell (KFTLC).Struggling attorney Peter Lawrence thought his life couldn’t get any worse. Then he’s assigned an indigent man arrested on a possessions charge, and suddenly he’s having nightmares where he’s a cop, his client is a weird priest, he’s remembering things that never happened, and he’s calling the old guy Pop.
  • Flowers for the Dead, by Stacy Rogers (Silk). Beautiful women are found dead in their homes, victims of a killer-rapist. There’re never any signs of forced entry, and each woman is found clutching a handful of rose petals. It’s up to Tom and Cassy to find the killer before he can claim his next victim: a beautiful blond with a Porsche and a penchant for fast driving.
  • The Heart of a Man, by JackeeC (KFTLC). A routine assignment plunges Peter Caine into a mystery involving murder, stolen artworks, a kidnapped child, and a woman from his past. The child’s life and his own heart are hanging in the balance.
  • The Gift of The Tiger, by Linda Jofery (KFTLC). Peter Caine still feels guilt over the death of fellow detective Kira Blakemore. Will a gift passed from sister to sister be the key to his finally finding peace?
  • Vengeance Is Mine, by Patricia O’Cain (Silk). The aftermath of an old case ends in tragedy. A grieving father blames Tom Ryan for his daughter’s death. Meanwhile, Tom has arranged a romantic getaway for himself and his new ladylove. Will they get their time together, or will one man’s hatred destroy them all?
  • Of Fathers and Son by Karen Elliot (KFTLC). Lousy weather, creeping flu, and too much work all combine to push Peter Caine to the brink. He’s been walking a tightrope between two fathers, two worlds, for too long. Has he finally fallen into the abyss?
  • Blood Lies by JP Kraft (KFTLC/Silk). In Palm Beach, a homicide cop is missing. Farther north, an ex-cop turned Shaolin priest also vanishes. In both cases, their apartments are trashed, a mysterious pendant is left in the wreckage, and a message is written on the wall in blood: Kwai Chang Caine, we have your sons.
