Sif/Loki is the het pairing of Sif and Loki from the Thor Movieverse fandom, which is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They are also frequently seen inside Marvel Comics (usually under a Thor comic title).

Fandom

While they had a limited amount of scenes together, some fans found their dynamic deeply intriguing.

"OH MY GOD YOU GUYS I CAN'T REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I FELT THIS GIDDY ABOUT A PAIRING. They're just lovely and screwed up and oh so pretty and the fandom is amazing." [1]

Fans of the pairing mostly post Sif/Loki graphics on Tumblr.

Some fans of the movie dislike the pairing.

"Just saw your recent post about Sif/Loki and would just like to say, the pairing is actually pretty big and seems to be growing all the time! I think a lot of people did see something in the film (I know I did, but then it was my first experience with Thor) and then the wonderful fanfics and graphics made it seem even more believable. At least that's what happened to me! So yeah, there's loads of us out there & we did see it in the movie. I think that's why people hate it so, we're so strong" [2]

Although not stated in the film version of Thor, it is believed that just as Loki had done in the comics[3] - he had turned Sif's golden hair (as all Asgardians have) into black when they were younger.
