The Sherlock BBC Prompting Meme is a kink meme community started on LiveJournal in July 2010, which later moved to Dreamwidth.
The community can be found on Dreamwidth at the following URL: https://sherlockbbc-fic.dreamwidth.org/.
The account was last updated on 10 June 2015 but the website remains in active use by individuals posting and filling prompts as of October 2020.
General guidelines for using the site:
1. Anon posting is not required, but most definitely allowed. If you think you recognise an anon, keep it to yourself and don’t out them. IP tracking is off, and will remain that way.
2. Multiple fills are encouraged, and all kinds of fills are accepted! Fic, art, vids, cosplay, interpretive dance--whatever. Go wild! :D
3. RPF (real person fic, i.e. fic involving the actors themselves) is not supported at this meme.
4. Concrit is welcome, but kinkshaming, hijacking, and flaming are not tolerated.

Current Prompt Post: Where all the new prompts should go. Check the top of the post to see whether there's a freeze going on.
Overflow post part III: This post is for filling prompts from prompt posts that have more than 9500 comments.
Filled Prompts Post (Parts 1-23): This is an archive created to make it simple for people to browse through both filled and unfilled prompts. When you fill something, you have to use it to archive your fill.
Filled Prompts Post (Parts 24-36): Same as above, but for prompting parts 24 to 36.
Filled Prompts Post (Parts 37+): Same as above, but for prompting parts 37 and up.
