Reactions and Reviews: Issue 1

Most of the stories in this volume branch off from the 2nd season episode 'The Watcher' and Catherine's brush with death. Unable to cope with the after effects of a car accident, her unfulfilled desires for Vincent and flashbacks to her attack (the Pilot), Catherine turns to pills and alcohol, much to Vincent's dismay. In one story, Catherine goes deep into herself with the aid of a sensory deprivation tank. One story is presented in script format and the zine also includes several songs. [1]

Issue 2

Shelter Me 2 is the sequel and has the subtitle, "Time Wasted." It was published in February 1993 and contains 71 pages.

Catherine has a visionary experience of herself as a prehistoric maiden who finds sexual fulfillment, which helps in her relationship with Vincent. A brief summary of the seven story arc of 'Shelter Me' introduces the story. [2]
