Reactions and Reviews

This zine, published by Australian fans, contains two stories, the first one, the brief "Full Circle," a preparation for the titular second. Stalwart 21-year-old orphan Jacob seeks and gets Catherine's old job with the DA's office. His preternatural strength allows him to lift a car off a lovely young lady with whom, though he flees the scene to avoid publicity, he feels his destiny is somehow entwined. Come to find out, she's named Dawn and wears a most significant RING. After the accident, Dawn, raised as a foster child in ignorance of her parentage, hires the investigator son of Diana Bennett (and Mark, presumably) to locate her rescuer. Soon Dawn and Jacob have met again and find each other most attractive. But danger lurks in Dawn's gradually revealed origins, which present a danger both to her and to Jacob. Since the very convoluted plot depends heavily on revelations intended to be surprising, to tell more would considerably blunt this fourth season story's impact. Suffice it to say that there's danger, suspense, and the blossoming of true love between its two protagonists. Not polished writing, but it moves right along. [1]
