Public Enemies is a film about the life of American gangster John Dillinger, based on an earlier book. The film stars fan favourites Johnny Depp, Christian Bale and Marion Cotillard. It has a small fandom.
1930s era bandits are AWESOME! I wish I had something more eloquent to say than that. I saw the movie this summer and immediately fell in love with John Dillinger's story, which led me to read the book which covers everyone from Alvin Karpis, to Ma Barker and the Barker Boys, to Dillinger, to Bonnie and Clyde. Everyone in Depression-era America you could imagine, and each one has a unique story to tell.[1]
