Public Call was an annual Doctor Who gift exchange fanfic challenge run through Dreamwidth, LiveJournal, and AO3.
Rules
Participants must be over 18 years of age, and must have an AO3 account. As this is an exchange, in order to receive a story, participants must write a story.[1]
Stories must be a minimum of 1000 words, and must involve one or more of the requested relationships (romantic or otherwise). Furthermore, stories must be newly written for the exchange, and cannot be sequels to previously posted fic or part of a previously posted fic series.[1] RPF is not allowed.[2]
Nominations start in September, participants sign-up in October, and stories are due at the end of November. Completed stories are posted starting early December.[3]
