This vid is a mix of both the literal and the ironic, and contains a great depth of emotion that can only be truly appreciated after repeated viewing."[1]
- "As much as I am emotionally invested in BSG (and that's, uh, a lot), I have never felt such a rising swell in my chest during an episode like I did while watching "Proud." I reached an emotional place with the show beyond anything I had before. It was powerful and new and unsettling in the very best way. Like, the vid made me proud to watch the show, proud of the characters and proud to have followed them through so much and proud to be a part of the BSG world. It's actually the equivalent of how I broke down crying the first time I watched "The Prom" because I was so proud of Buffy. But you did that with a VID! How do you DO that?"[2]
