It was a smut-dedicated challenge series that was run for ages on LJ by oxoniensis. I think the thing that really made it work was that oxo maintained a website where all the prompts were organised by fandom and pairing (I think?), so it was super easy to visit the challenge post, scroll down the list and be inspired. You could also only request the fandom + pairing/character + a short sentence or a few words of what you wanted, so there wasn't really any DNW drama. [4]
